Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026 · Scope: website and browser game. App-specific disclosures and store listings also apply.
This notice explains the privacy practices of the Unfire website and its browser-based interactive experiences. It does not replace the disclosures required for individual apps, third-party stores, or new services. It describes how these features are designed; connected service providers can have their own data practices.
1. Who is responsible and how to contact us
The operator of this website is Omar Baró, trading under the independent project name Unfire in Spain. Unfire is not currently a separately incorporated company. For privacy requests: hello@unfire.technology. See the legal notice for the operator's published details.
2. Information and purposes
Messages and enquiries
If you write to us, we receive the contact details and the content you choose to send, and may retain related correspondence to answer your enquiry, handle support, or assess a proposed collaboration. Legal bases, as applicable: taking steps before a contract at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest in replying to communications (art. 6(1)(f)), and complying with applicable law (art. 6(1)(c)). Please avoid sending passwords, recordings, payment-card numbers or sensitive material by email unless specifically necessary and protected by a suitable process.
Website and browser gameplay
Browser features can store settings, progress and preferences on your device through local storage or similar technologies. The hosting and networking services needed to deliver pages may process technical connection data, such as IP address, request time and browser-related information, under their own operational security and retention practices. Our purposes are to serve the site, maintain security, and provide features you request; the applicable legal basis depends on the specific operation, including legitimate interest and, where applicable, performance of a service you request.
Online rooms and player messages
Some browser-game modes establish connections between participants using WebRTC/PeerJS-style signalling. Other players in a room can receive the messages, display name or session identifier you share. Connection providers and peers may handle connection metadata, potentially including IP/network information necessary for establishing peer connections; do not assume that a peer room is anonymous or that a message remains private to the person sending it. Conversation text is intended to be temporary in the current in-browser session, but recipients can copy or record what they see. Do not share personal information, and report abusive behaviour to hello@unfire.technology while dedicated in-game reporting controls are evaluated.
Microphone and spoken interaction
Browser speech recognition is optional and starts only when you use a supported voice control and grant permission. Your browser may send audio to its recognition provider, depending on browser and operating system; this processing is subject to that provider's notices. Speech synthesis can use device/browser voices. Unfire does not describe those third-party services as necessarily local or private. Any separate screen-recording or desktop app has its own permission behaviour and must be evaluated for the specific version you install.
3. Recipients and international processing
Service providers may be involved in website hosting (currently GitHub Pages), business email (Google Workspace), browser fonts or other requested resources, network signalling/STUN/TURN for online sessions and browser speech services. Their roles, retention, geographical processing and safeguards can differ by feature, device and provider. Data may be transferred outside the EEA when a provider operates internationally; where applicable, appropriate GDPR transfer conditions are required. We are reviewing provider-specific arrangements and do not claim that every transfer or provider has already been verified. No customer-list sale is intended.
4. Retention
Local gameplay and preferences remain in your browser until you erase them, the browser clears them, or a feature expires them. In-memory chat data is intended to disappear when a session ends; other participants may keep their own copies. Correspondence is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to deal with the request, any related business relationship, disputes and statutory recordkeeping. Hosting, email, signalling and browser vendors control their own technical logs under their own schedules; no single retention period can accurately be promised for all of them.
5. Optional analytics and cookies
Non-essential analytics should not activate until the necessary notice and valid consent are in place. A proposed analytics implementation does not mean tracking is already enabled. See our cookie and local-storage information to learn about browser controls and technologies. We do not use the website's support assistant to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@unfire.technology with enough information to identify the relevant communication; we may need proportionate verification. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the competent authority in your jurisdiction. Clearing browser storage can remove local preferences and game progress.
7. Children and updates
Our interactive content can be accessed in browsers, including by younger users. Do not include real names, phone numbers, addresses or identifying details in public player messages. Parents and guardians should supervise online interactions by children. Age-related privacy and safety controls are under review; no age-verification or parental-control mechanism is claimed here as already implemented. Material changes to actual services will require corresponding updates to this notice.
