ARCHER Mobile — Privacy
Last updated: 13 October 2026 · English
ARCHER Mobile is an iPhone and iPad audio-effect development build, including a standalone app and an Audio Unit v3 extension. This notice describes the current 1.0.0 development build, not the distinct macOS release.
Audio and microphone input
Sound supplied by the app, an audio host or a microphone selected by the user is processed locally by the mobile audio effect. If microphone access is needed, iOS asks for permission. The current build does not include a feature for uploading microphone recordings or processed audio to an Unfire server. Audio-host apps may manage their own recording and file retention according to their own policies.
Accounts, tracking and network services
The mobile build does not provide an Unfire account, advertising or analytics SDK, cloud processing, remote licensing server or automatic audio-upload service. No audio, preset or microphone data is intentionally transmitted by ARCHER Mobile to Unfire. Device-level diagnostics, App Store transactions and other platform data may be processed independently by Apple.
Local preferences
Parameters and in-app preferences may be stored locally to maintain the user experience. You can remove the app and its data using iOS settings, subject to any files held separately by an audio host.
Contacting support
If you email Unfire for help, any details you choose to send are handled under the general Unfire privacy policy. Please avoid attaching sensitive recordings, credentials or third-party session files to an initial support request.
Your rights
For applicable data-protection questions or requests concerning messages sent to us, contact hello@unfire.technology.
This notice will be reviewed against the final binaries, audio SDK dependencies and App Store data disclosures before public release.
